Changing to income based esa was created by montygti
Ive applied to change to income based esa but i have received a form saying they want more answers. I own a flat that i was renovating but got ill half way through doing so. I finished it off and let the flat out. Now the esa people are asking if i have ever lived in the property and if so why did i leave. I did sort of live there whilst i was doing the work but not really properly as i went between my parents house and the flat. So i really dont know what to write. Why are they asking the question, does anyone have any idea?
Thanks
Thanks

I would think that the form was an ESA3 which captures information about your income and assets.
If you are not living in this flat then it will be counted as an asset and if you rent it out, any monies will be counted as income.
If you do not know what to write then get face to face advice, as you will need to reply to the DWP.
Where to get advice?
