Do I have to attend work focused interviews while in the appeals process to get changed from WRAG to Support Group? I cannot get a straight answer from DWP.

I am afraid you are required to attend WFIs and participate in Work Related Activity, but you should not be forwarded to the Work Programme.

Hi Harry
I phoned my JC adviser told her I was appealing and explained my condition, they did not contact me again, and my appeal took about 4 months

Some JC+ advisors are happy to suspend WFI's if the claimant, others are not. This, like holding the interviews over the phone or in the claimant's own home, is entirely at the discretion of the advisor.
