ESA arrear date

My medical was on the 26th of May 2012
For migrating from IB to ESA.
Decision letter dated 23rd July 2012 Stating
that I will not be entitled to ESA and my payments
will stop on the 18 August 2012. I won my
appeal so what date should my arrears be paid from ?

In another words if I was successful on the 26th of May 2012
would I be paid the higher Esa rate from that date ?

I am glad to hear that you won your appeal Payment will be backdated to the first day after your IB was stopped.

Were you put into the WRAG or the Support Group by the Tribunal? I have to warn you that Contributary ESA in the WRAG is paid for only 365 days

12 Month Limit for ESA(CB)

There is no such time-limit in the Support Group.

I was put in the support group. According to
you I should be paid from the 18th August 2012.
In 2009 I was paid from the date of the medical
if applied to this claim it would be 26th May.

Again I have to ask if I were successful in
my 26th May Medical would I've been paid the
ESA support rate from the 26th of May ?

People being migrated from IB were given a date a few weeks hence for discontinuation of IB. If ESA was awarded it would be paid from the day after this.
