Had DLA form through today and not sure why

Hi, my current award of DLA is due to finish at the end of november this year. A couple of months a go i had a letter telling me that i would be sent the forms for PIP to apply for that sometime before then.

This morning i got a DLA application form and im not quite sure what to do with it? I thought no one was applying for DLA anymore? And it still says my current DLA ends in november so im not sure why they have sent it so early anyway.

Do I ignore it? Or fill it in?

Hi s75,

It is normal to receive DLA "Renewal" Forms 4 months or longer before the end of an existing fixed term DLA award.

So this is quite normal, and you should fill it in and return it.
