Compliance/Conditionality Interview was created by mumsgirl
Why would someone on JSa (obeying all the rules) and on the work programme with Working Links receive a letter from JCP entitled Compliance/Conditionality Interview? They've to ask for the Compliance Off Flow Advisor and they've to take bills, bank statements and details of the past 2 weeks job search. They've also to fill in a questionaire asking how long they have been unemployed (shouldn't they know that!), who's in their household, do they have an ISA, do they have on line access and have they done any part time work.

Is this normal? Or might they be thinking of sanctioning him? he has been unemployed for 5 months and with Working Links for 2 months.

Hi mg,

These Compliance Officer interviews seem to be an ever increasing trend at the moment.

Several of our members in receipt of ESA have had similar interviews.

www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?view=top...d=10&id=98673#107549

They will check that all is in order with the claim, financially and otherwise.

Such an interview, can be purely routine, or as the result of someone making a malicious phone call, etc.

The only way to find out what has actually triggered this interview with the person that you mention, would be for them to ring up and ask.

All of the members that have had recent interviews, have provided the information requested, and all has been fine.

These are the posts that came up when I put compliance into the search link above the forum.

Thanks bro, it's my children's father. He was at a party last week and several of the other guests worked for the Glasgow BDC!!! He didn't speak to them much, just said 'hello' when he got introduced to them and he certainly didn't tell any of them his surname or if he was on benefits etc (unless the host did, who is his best friend of 30 years). I think he is just feeling paranoid! He's not done anything wrong as far as I can see.

have a lovely weekend.

Hi mg,

If nothing is amiss, then he should not worry.

Tell him to comply with their requests, and all should be fine.

Hope you have a good weekend also. :)
