Dla wait drivng me insane

Could someone please help me I am going crazy I applied for Dla at the start of march as i was put on the waiting list for hip replacement and in march they written to my consultant but he never replied so at the end of April they requested GP report my GP sent it in on the 17th of may they told me in June they don't have it and I also send in extra evidence in June and they never received that either as silly me never put it recorded. So GP faxed over the report in the middle of June which was received by them and I have been phoning for updates to be told still with decision maker and now after waiting 19 weeks for a decision they now say they have lost my form and wanting me to complete another one luckily i have a copy and send it recorded delivery Friday, My operation still has not went ahead as i have tested positive for Mrsa so that needs cleared before they will consider a operation. are they trying to delay my claim on purpose has this happened to anyone else.

What an absolute nightmare for you!! I really think this is down to general incompetence rather than some sort of conspiracy though. Unfortunately, yours are certainly not the first forms that have been lost
