Appeal

Hi,

I find my self in a unique (I think !) situation.
I am awaiting my DLA appeal (now set for Oct )
I wondered if I am allowed to request information regarding the panel members?
The reason for this is that I am currently awaiting the results of ‘selection day’ with regard to the Disability Member of the First Tier Tribunal Panel. Part of the process was to attend a Tribunal and spend a day with the the panel. My appeal is to be held at the same place and I do not want to sit in front of the same panel members that I spent the day with as should I pass selection I would be sitting on the same panel with them. Do you think I should perhaps now ask for a ‘paper appeal’ as although they may well recognize me in person (I tend to ‘stand out’ ) but would , hopefully, not place just my name. I do not want to jeopardize either my appeal nor the mechanics of working with these people.
I am planning on being very proactive during my appeal, I am angry on so many levels ! One of the most startling things that the DWP say in their statement for refusal is that Ms ***** is able to work…
Ha!, so working counts against you now? Im sure IDS would disagree ???? !!!
Actually I work entirely from home as I now cannot physically get into the office which has been confirmed by my employer.

Perhaps also as you moderate this post prior to appearing on the page, could I ask that if you think it is unwise to put up the entire post for reasons of anonymity then perhaps you could just answer the question as to whether I can be told who will be hearing my appeal.
