IB to ESA online form and CAB was created by CLINE
Hello All,
Long time since I posted but no doubt will be on here quite a bit..
I am being transferred and had the phone call but awaiting the forms. I have been given
a number to ring for help in filling out the forms through the CAB. Should I try and download
the online form (so far not been able too any suggestions welcomed) and fill it in using resources on here. Or go in just with the blank form and let them do it all???
I trust all your advice and gained indefinate DLA through it. Although I had great help from the CAB when I appealed for the DLA. I have heard that not all representatives are quite so great.
Any advice very, very welcome
Thanks :*)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi CLINE,
It is a fact that many people do better if they have had help to fill out the forms. However, it is unfortunately becoming increasingly difficult to find anyone who can do this.
If you have good CAB advisors then you are very lucky! It might be worth making your own notes, taking notes from a CAB consultation and then filling out the forms with the help of our guides.
To fill in the PDF version of the form, you should first save it to your computer, then you will be able to fill in the forms and make alterations
Using The PDF Version Of The ESA50 Questionnaire
ESA claims and appeals
ESA FAQs
It would be a good idea to bookmark this topic (or make it a copy on your web browser) so that you will find it easily in future. Then you can come back here and ask further questions, it really helps us to keep everything in one place

Thanks Mrs HB
The CAB has changed in this area and is now an Involve Northwest which have a website saying they offer to help fill in forms and with appeals. However, had no experience with them as it was just good old CAB when I last needed help from them. Your suggestion of doing both is a good idea. Thank you for the link as well :*)
