My Husband was transferred to ESA earlier this year without a medical.
We have now received a letter from the Customer Compliance Officer at Job Centre asking him to attend an interview.
They want proof of ID and all personal financial details even down to savings , shares, premium bonds, house ownership, occupational pension etc. And, proof of any paid work, which he has been unable to do anyway for the last 6 years, due to End Stage Liver Disease and then Transplant and still attending for Ops.
They don't seem to be asking about his health only his finances.
Anybody got any ideas why we should have received this.

Hi C,
Several of our members have had similar interviews with Customer Compliance Officers recently, for no apparent reason.
They can be a matter of routine, or as the result of a malicious phone call, etc.
In all recent case, the members simply complied with all the requests for documentation, and all was O.K.
