darcy wrote: Hi all, well Ive not written on this site for a while, but, I have now been on appeal for 23months.
Had 2 tribunals, 2 ATOS Doctors? 1st one, I had apology from ATOS! Second Doctor, who tribunal said had to be female! Only through CAB did I get female as ATOS said they didn't have female Doctor!
She arrived on bad day when I couldn't even get out of bed, She ATOS Doctor? said I could walk 200 yards easily? I have a disabled bay outside my house, long grab rail to front door, internal door buzzer, hand rails in passage , stairs ,bathroom, walking sticks etc.,
She ATOS Doctor? said I have no walking aids! even though previous Atos Doctor mentioned them all! etc etc etc...I have CFS/Heart disease/Diabetes type2/high blood everything,
I have had a letterdated 16/11/12 from my Psychologist (no reply) stating that I have severe PTSD (RAPED viciously on my 61st birthday) severe anxiety, severe depression, ATOS female Doctor, who went to University in Lithuania in 1982 (31 years ago) not registered again until 2005, not a full GP or special doctor?! Said I have no mental health problems!? 100% fit!? When I questioned her account of my disabilities,
I was told that ATOS Doctors do not need to see someone walk to know they can! they are all trained with regards to ME/CFS! (she didn't mention it in her report) Did not answer about her saying I had no walking aids! I received a reply from ATOS, first saying "They were waiting a copy of my medical report from Tribunal service, and if I had a copy could I ring them and they would forward a pre-paid envelope as this would greatly assist them! WHAT?
The next letter stated all the above, don't need to see someone walk etc., and would be forwarding report to DWP! Sorry about rant, but that was in May 2013...I hope you understand my writing as Im not that Literate...Thanks
