Not eligible for ESA(IR) due to wrong decision

I don’t know if you can help. I applied for ESA(IR) because my ESA(CB) was coming to an end. (I also asked for a reassessment in the hope I will be put in the support group, but that is another matter.)
The outcome of my application for ESA(IR) involved my being interviewed with a Compliance Officer. This is because I share my flat with a man. We are just good friends who share the same flat. We are not a couple and have never been a couple.
The horrible DWP decided we are couple and have taken away not only my single status, but I have lost my ESA, housing benefit and council tax help. I have no idea how I am going to live without any money. I am the tenant and all the bills are in my name. Obviously, my friend is not willing to support me financially because we are not in a partnership relationship.
I am going to appeal the decision, because they have got it all wrong, but I just wondered if there any advice, any documents that would help me with my appeal?
Regard of what happens with my reassessment for ESA(CB) I want to get my single status back.

Get face to face advice, it can be very difficult to prove that you are not living as a couple, it your friend has no documentation to support their living there, e.g. rent book, separate utility bills, etc.

Where to get advice?
