Hi EP,
We've had a lot of similar queries recently, the latest one being yesterday, as seen here :
www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/forum?view=top...d=10&id=98768#108043 The only advice that I can give is to comply with all request to provide documentation, etc, and all should be O.K.
Even though your OH is in receipt of CB ESA, OP income is still taken into account, much as it was with IB.
e.g. A weekly deduction of 50 pence in the pound for every pound in excess of £85 of OP received weekly.
e.g. Weekly OP of £100 = £7.50 deducted from weekly CB ESA.
If your OH's OP was disregarded whilst he was in receipt of IB before being transferred to ESA, (if that is the case) then it will still be disregarded now that he is in receipt of CB ESA, under Transitional Protection :
Will my pension be disregarded under ESA? My IB was tax exempt; will it still be under ESA? bro58
