I am currently going through the appeal process and looking at my Consultants support letter. He wrote that " This Lady is significantly restricted in function and comprise in terms of her independence " I am wondering will thai sentence be of much help. l also have lots of other evidence but unsure what to end in with appeal papers. or do i just send everything ?
Also one of my discharge letters from a physio has stated that patient scored 60% on Oswestry neck disability index identifying severe disability and 4 on Srar t back screeniing tool indicating medium risk of affective mechanisms dominating symptom presentation. Can anyone translate this for me in plain English. Hope its ok to ask these questions on this site.

If you do an internet search for the phrases in your post you will get a better explanation of what they mean than I can give you on the forum.
The problem with the letters you refer to is whilst they appear to indicate a severe level of disability, they make no reference to the ESA descriptors under which you are being assessed, whilst this is not insurmountable it does require you to establish links between your physical conditions and each of the ESA Descriptors that you believe are relevant to your claim.
My best suggestion is for you to have a look at the ESA Claim guides to understand how you might phase a response for the appeal.
