Good to here from you. I will certainly pass on your good wishes to CD when I speak to him.

Regretfully, my MS and respiratory problems have worsened in the last few months, I now have an indoor/outdoor electric wheelchair and am currently in the process of getting a new Motability car with a wheelchair hoist so I can get out more. Thankfully, Pat's conditions are pretty stable at the moment. Probably down to age as I will be 73 in December, and Pat is just 64, although her psoriatic arthritis often flares up.

I'm sure you'll remember Pete who is still technically a moderator, but hasn't been online for months. As well as his war injuries he's had several heart attacks and bypass operations, but e-mails I've sent haven't been replied to which is unusual for Pete. His wife also had breast cancer, but I'm afraid I don't know the current situation.

I hope you're as well as possible yourself.

Following one of my brief excursions into the benefit forum these days, I would belatedly like to express my sincere thanks to all the moderators/members for their kind words in this thread. Accordingly, I have endorsed each post with a "thank you" notation.

I inadvertently stumbled upon the thread whilst looking for some other information, hence the apparent lack of gratitude shown to the contributors.
