Hi k,

If you have been placed into the SG as the result of an appeals tribunal hearing, you should receive the decision notice through the post over the coming days.

The decision notice should confirm in writing which group you have been placed in, along with why you were placed in it.

Please return and let us know once you have received written confirmation.

Congratulations on the result.

Your new SG status should be backdated to the date of the Decision that you appealed against, if that was before your ESA(CB) ended, then it should be re-instated while you remain in the SG and the time limit count reset as appropriate.

It usually takes 5-6 weeks to sort out back re-instated payments and back payments, you may be able to speed it up or at least keep it to schedule by providing the DWP with a copy of the Decision Notice either by fax or via your local JC+ office, although you will need to make an appointment with them to do this.
