So is there no guide on B&W specifically for AA? Do you have to use the guide to DLA?

Hi P,

I have given you your own topic, as the one that you tagged on to was nearly 2 years old.

Yes, that's correct.

Obviously there is no Mobility Component with AA, as there is with DLA.

Just a quick comment in addition to Bro's always excellent posts. Claimants in receipt of Attendance Allowance (AA) will remain on AA so long as they satisfy the criteria for AA. They will not be subject to the more harsh rules for claimants who are on DLA, but over the next few years will be migrated to PIP if they are between 16 -64 years of age.

Claimants over 65 years of age and in receipt of DLA mobility and/or care component will continue to receive DLA, and under current legislation there are no plans to migrate them to PIP.

Sorry, it's all in one piece of text with no paragraphs, but that's not B & W's fault, it's due to 'Disability Now' not putting the article on their website without breaking it down into paragraphs.
