Hello,
Just wanted to ask if anyone knew when Universal credit would come into effect in Liverpool?
Would this effect current claims for working tax credit and housing benefit?
I was wondering as I am waiting to hear about these and it may not processed until October 2013 which I have read is when Universal Credit comes into force.

Hi m,
We don't really advise on UC.
However, as you may be aware they have suffered major problem with the software and the projected roll out, nationally.

The UC rollout will be extended to six more JC+ offices from October, Liverpool is not one of them, however, UC is currently only available to claimants claiming JSA, who are single and have no health problems, there is no timescale for rollout on a wider basis.
