Help! i am a newbie

i am presently filling in a esa 50 form as i am on receipt of IB. As iam 6 months to retirement age would that be a factor in the decision to award.?

Hi CR,

It shouldn't do, as your SPA is only pertinent as mentioned below :

Who will be transferred?

Therefore, you will be assessed as of the date of the actual decision.

As this can take some months to happen, you may be very close to SPA anyway.

As you may be aware, you generally receive your claim pack for SPA some time before the actual date of your SPA.
