I thought no one could be found fit for work unless they had first attended a Medical?

Hi J,

Normally a claimant can not be found fit for work unless they have first attended a face to face.

However, they can be found fit for work on a technicality for failing to return an ESA50 by the deadline date given, or failing to attend a face to face. (Both, without "Good Cause")

Hello Gordon
You have to apply for a reconsideration before you can appeal.
Also if you decide to reapply for ESA it's more than likely you will be put on UC.
