DWP was created by Jac
I went to tribunal in August 2013. I won & was awarded ESA in the support group backdated to March 13.
The DWP are being so difficult. I am in receipt of Income Support & IB credits & they have been pushing me from pillar to post on the phone. I have been cut off, call backs not calling back, was told they had no notice of my tribunal result (so I sent it special delivery to them) & some of the staff have been really quite nasty. Nobody seems to know what's going on. It's costing me a fortune to keep calling.
I was told I should be migrated from IB credits & Income Support to ESA in the support group. Is this really difficult or something? Am I the only one in the country who is going through this??
I would be ver grateful for any help or advice. Thanks

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi J,
You are cetainly not the only person who has suffered such poor service from DWP. They are currently building a very large backlog and I suspect that your file is sitting in a huge pile awaiting attention!
You can complain to DWP about this and many people feel that their MP should be made aware of the way claimants are really being treated. A good MP can sometimes put a rocket up the tail of DWP and get things moving.
Complaining to the DWP
Contacting your MP
As an aside, I see that your username might be your real name. Many people prefer to use an alias in order to maintain a degree of anonymity on an open forum such as this. If you wish to change your username, you can do it by following the advice in this FAQ
My full name is showing, how can I stop it?
