DLA and Change In Circumstance was created by maryo
Dear Forum,

I was wondering if the following was considered a Change In Circumstance for DLA purposes,
1. Getting married
2.Moving home

Thank-you.

Hi Marie,

Of course, you must notify DLA regarding your change of address, but I do not believe that these changes, per se, would be considered as 'Change of Circumstances'.

I will leave this topic without a green tick, so that other moderators will know to look in and comment.

Neither being married nor moving will affect your entitlement.

You are of course correct in both areas you describe.Nevertheless, some Decision Makers believe moving is a change of circumstances especially for DLA, and often use this as an excuse to review claims.
