Hi can anyone clarify if Atos are still doing face to face medicals. I have been told I will be called in within the next two weeks. I did send medical evidence in with my claim.

As far as I am aware ATOS and Capita are doing assessments for new claims across the whole of the country.
Capita are doing assessments for a "stripe" across the middle of the country for transfers and Changes of Circumstances and ATOS are doing the same for roughly East Anglia.

As far as I am aware ATOS and Capita are doing assessments for new claims across the whole of the country.

If you read the News story HERE It states that DLA assessments can be carried out by Decisions Makers using Google.
Whether this also applies to PIP claims, hasn't been made clear. There has been no details made available by the DWP online.
However, as Gordon rightly points out, ATOS and Capita are doing assessments for new claims across the whole of the country.
Whether this has been changed to to the same criteria for PIP as is the current situation for DLA, appears to be an unknown quantity, in my opinion, which I acknowledge may be wrong.
