A good friend of mine has [eventually] heard from atos following an ESA50 submission and they have to go for an assessment very soon. She's just received a letter from her consultant describing her problems; so can she send this letter ahead of the assessment in the hope that atos will take any notice of it or is it better for her to take it with her to the assessment again in the hope that the "HCP" will take any notice of it? Or should she just hang onto it in the [hopefully] unlikely event that she needs to request a reconsideration or go to an appeal and needs to present additional medical evidence.
She was previously in the SG and this is her review.

I would send a copy to ATOS and the DWP, care of the "Decision Maker" and take a copy to the assessment, new evidence presented at the assessment is covered under 4.2.5 of the WCA Handbook.
