Awaiting result of review 3 months 4 weeks ago #246961

Hello, I asked for a review of my PIP allowance Sept 26 th 2019, after my condition deteriorated considerably, currently have standard of both care and mobility component. I had a face to face assessment at home on the 13 th December. On the 23 rd December I received a text from DWP saying that they had the assessment and all other documents and I would hear from them within 6 weeks, after 9 weeks which was in February I rang them and they said there was now a delay of 15 weeks and I would hear by the end of March. I still have not heard anything does this mean with the delays I won’t now hear until end of June?

Hi Sue,

Thank you for your message.

As you can imagine the system is under great strain right now so I am afraid is really it is going to be a waiting game whilst they work through the back log.

However I do hope you do not have to wait to much longer to get your decision.

Best,

Keith

Its so difficult to be sure of anything regarding the DWP right now as long as you are still receiving payments try as hard as it is to not worry about it.

best wishes
