An independent film producer planning to do a documentary on the work capability assessment (WCA) –​ the medical test for employment and support allowance (ESA) –​ wants to hear from claimants who are waiting for a medical or an appeal hearing.

Producer Piers Sanderson intends to do a documentary on the effects of welfare reform on sick and disabled claimants and wishes to follow a group of people through the process of being assessed and, where necessary, appealing.
