The Central Office of Information has hired a leading marketing company to promote employment and support allowance with leaflets, adverts, direct mail and email campaigns.

Iris (with a small i) are a direct marketing company whose clients include Coca Cola, American Express, Network Rail, Shell and Unilever. You can get an idea of who will be absorbing your taxes in large quantities by visiting Luke D’Arcy and the rest of the Iris (sorry, iris) team here.

We’ve contacted the COI to ask when a similar campaign will be funded to get Luke and his chums promote genuinely underclaimed benefits, such as DLA and AA. As yet we have received no response.
