Hi There
Applied for DLA - turned down. Asked for reconsideration - result - decision unchanged. I suspect decision was taken based on unreliable GPs report as I did not have a medical. Question is am I entitled to see GPs report before I decide to go to appeal or do I have to lodge appeal before I can get access to that report ( Northern Ireland). Thanks

You should be able to request a copy of the report, it is normally referred to as GP Factual Report, from the DWP office that dealt with your claim, however, you are normally required to lodge an appeal with one month of the Decision letter, so I would be careful to do so within this timescale even if you have not received the report, as the appeal can be rejected if it is late.
Have a look at our DLA Appeal guide for more details.
