I totally agree with Gordon. There are good and bad in all professions and benefits/welfare rights advisers are no exception. In general, a benefits/welfare rights advisor will be more experienced in social security law than a solicitor, but there are exceptions.

Thank you I have found a solicitor that has a whole department that specialises in welfare benefits. They say they have done many DLA appeals and have high success rate. Thank you for all your advice and I will keep you posted.
