Most of the delay appears to be in the assessment stage, once the DWP have the report I would expect a Decision in 1-2 weeks, providing the report is viewed as being OK, if it isn't then it will depend on whether the report can be re-written or whether a new assessment is required, I'm hoping we are past this stage, but it is too early to say.

Hi Guys. If only?! The DWP received my assessment from Capita on 30th of April. At the time I was told DWP was trying to make decisions within 3 weeks of receiving report. That was now nearly 5 weeks ago! In the last of my now weekly telephone conversations with DWP they said it could be by the end of this week. I am not going to hold my breath but I am "girding my loins" for the appeal process should it be needed!
