So therefore you dont get paid PIP 4 weeks from the date of the decision you get paid 8 PiP 8 weeks from the date of the decision.
Personally I wish I had never gone through with the appeal in january 2014 as advised as I would have had a nice backpay payments of SDP and PIP from july 2013
You are correct that your first PIP payment will be 8 weeks after the Decision, the first 4 weeks will be covered by a final DLA payment, the next four weeks are covered by the first PIP payment, so there is no loss of benefit.
