Hi Bro and Mrs HB,
Would it be reasonable to assume that a claimant submitting an ESA 50 this month and later will not have to endure the uncertainty of a 13-month wait when Atos-DWP alliance ends in January 2015? Or is “reason” a foreign word to these folk?

The Government says that the queues are coming down but we are still seeing claimants who have waited 12 months or more on this and other forums, I think it reasonable to assume that the time to wait will reduce, but whether it comes down to a month of 11 months and 29 days is anybodies guess at the moment.

I returned my renewal ESA50 on 6th June 2013 and I am still awaiting either a F2F or a decision.

So there is a strong possibility that the claims of people submitting an ESA 50 to Atos now may, in fact, be dealt with by whichever new third-party company takes over in January 2015?

I think there is that possibility assuming that one is place which I don't think can be guaranteed.
