Just to be clear on you requesting that your PIP face to face is recorded.
The DWP have informed Capita and ATOS that they are not obliged to record PIP claimant's face to face assessments.
They will probably inform you that you have to provide your own equipment which must have the facility to make simultaneous dual recordings, on CD or tape, one for you and one for the Assessor.
Such equipment can be rather expensive.
You do not have to give any specific reasons for re-arranging.
You can covertly record it, but you should take into account that if the Assessor becomes aware that you are doing so, they may stop the assessment and state that you have failed to co-operate.
This can also result in disqualification of your PIP Claim.
Hello Pat Mine was 2 weeks from submitting the form to being assessed to getting the unsuccessful letter. I wrote asking for a MR, was told it would take upto 2 months yet they did it within 9 working days and without giving me sight of the assessors report. I am now preparing for tribunal.
