Is this a new claim or transfer? If a transfer then they will write to you.

Does one have any kind of help or support? one could potentially go to CAB or a charity

These people may help with the application process. You could still use our guides to help you provide all the evidence etc.

You can apply in writing to the address on the following link

www.gov.uk/pip/how-to-claim

Please be aware that one of our members has had problems doing this, so If you can get someone to phone on your behalf then that would be better.

If you do write then you need to make sure that you keep track of the timescales and escalate the problem if you are approaching the date when claim needs to be made by.
