Xmas Bonus Queries !

I just wondered; is everyone receiving letter about Christmas bonus ? I am receiving PIP but haven't received a letter yet.

Some but not all receive Xmas Bonus letters !

Keep an eye on your Bank Account as the Xmas Bonus is payable from the first pay week of December.

Some ESA recipients miss it as it is simply added on to their ESA payment.

Did not receive a letter re Xmas £10 bonus and have not done so for a number of years, however, as per usual £10 was in my bank as from this morning 8/12/15.

I too have got the Xmas bonus into bank account today but it was paid as a separate dla payment of £10.00 and not with my ESA as in other years, don't know why they changed it and had no letter yet. Had normal ESA payment last week and normal dla not due for another two weeks.?

I haven't been notified for years but it turns up every year for what its worth!!!
£10!! Its more of an insult given the ideological attack we've suffered.
Its also been £10 for as long as I can remember.

Yes, it was £10 in 1985 when everyone on SB used to get it - not just the disabled. In 1985 a tenner wasn't an insignificant amount of money, it wasn't a lot, but it wasn't to be sneezed at either - you could actually buy a reasonable Christmas dinner for it. Now it's a pretty insignificant amount of money, a token rather than intended to be useful - at least IMO.
