Technically you are required to inform the DWP of any change in your condition that might effect your award, in reality the DWP don't care a lot if a claimant informs them or not that their condition has deteriorated.

So the first thing you need to look at is whether this change will result in a change of award.

If you do decide to inform them then you should expect a full re-assessment of your claim, also, as this will create a new Decision, it will supersede any award made at your Tribunal, so as an example; if the Tribunal makes a Mobility award and the new Decision does not, then you would only receive the Daily Living award going forward, although a new Decision would itself be appealable.
