  			 				Hi,

Only joined a few days ago so new poster

Three years ago I was transferred from IB to ESA after 20 years and had to go through the process of completing the Capability of or work questionnaire.I was called to a f2f and the result was placed in CB WRAG.Just before my year was up was sent the form again to complete which I did and was called to another f2f the result of that was to be placed in the support group for 2 years. My 2 years in the support group are coming to an end so have not long received the dreaded questionnaire again....What I,m trying to determine is,does the DM access/ take into account previous forms completed and the resulting f2f meetings when making their decision?

Thanks in advance

This new assessment is looking at your limitations as they now as a result it is very unlikely that the assessor of the Decision Maker will make any reference to you previous forms and reports as they will take the view that they are now out of date.

This doesn't mean that you cannot use this information but you must show that it is relevant to how you are today for it to carry weight.

If you conditions are ones where it would be reasonable to expect no improvement or even that your condition may deteriorate then the Decision Maker should offer an explanation of why they have awarded different points from the previous assessment, should this happen.

  			 				Hi Gordon,

Thanks for the reply

The reason for asking is I feel like a broken record repeating the same answers to every questionnaire they send me as my circumstances are still the same as they were at my last f2f and before for that matter...Dont know if it's normal or I,m a strange case but the HCP in my first f2f deemed me fit to work on the points system,it was the DM who awarded me more points to place me in CBESA(WRAG). Then a year later the HCP deemed me eligible for the Support Group which I am in at present It suggest disability and how it affects someone is about opinions so a lucky bag

Supplementary question

You say it's a new assessment I,m going through and not a reassessment. Will the DM who receives my questionnaire be aware I,m currently in the support group and if not should I highlight that on my form

Thanks again,it's comforting to know there are people out there helping the likes of me

My use of "new" is just to separate it from any previous assessment it is just as accurate to to call it a "re-assessment".

As a general rule do not assume that the assessor or the Decision Maker will be aware of anything in regard to your current claim. If there is something you want them to be aware of or to take into account then include it in your form or the pages attached.

I know it can be a pain having to repeat things between one assessment and another or even on the same form but this is all about crossing the "T"s and dotting the "I"s.

Close to completing questionnaire which is due back next week.
With my circumstances not changing from my f2f two years ago
Is it worthwhile photocopying pages from my ESA85 showing the reasons HCP recommended me for the support group and sending as supporting evidence?

Would it be accepted?would it be deemed credible evidence or would it come across as me trying to tell them there job?
