Hi Steven
Please can you clarify what level hearing you are talking about.
Has your wife had a Mandatory Reconsideration?
Has she had a lower level appeal?

Hi,
I believe that SW is refering to an appeal to The First Tier Tribunal. (FTT)
Sometimes Local Council have Welfare Rights Dept, or their is : Age UK for over 50's.
Other potential sources can be found below :
Where to get advice
You may also have a local DIAL !
Failing the above, try putting Welfare Rights/Advice for your Town/Postcode into Google.

Hi SW,
I have merged your post of today with your previous topic for continuity.
Please keep all future related posts to this topic.
You can Bookmark/Favourite this page in your Internet Browser for future ease of access.
Yes, since the Government withdrew Legal Aid for FTT representation it can be very difficult to obtain it.
Many, many of our members successfully represent themselves.
Yes, you can make a note in The SSCS 1 Form that you are trying to obtain professional advice and will forward contact details to them if/when you secure the services of an Advisor.
Ensure that you post The SSCS 1 and copy of The MR Notice to arrive at The Tribunal Service no later than one month from the date of The MR Notice.
You can safely submit further evidence/submissions to The TS right up until 10-14 days before the hearing date.
