home assessment and gp

well as you all know G P sent the fax with regards to a home visit waited a few days to call them to make sure that they got it which they had can you guess what the person on the other end off the phone said well it was this has been sent to an assessor we told them that the doctor had put his direct line on the fax for them to call him if need any more advice on myself

the person on the other end of the phone hen told us that they would not phone the doctor then told me that they had already made made another appointment for this month to attend the centre how can this be we said we in your own word it was with an assessor,

this person was rude and could not be anymore unhelpful if she tried 10 days on and still no word so sent an e-mail off to the mp who phoned me back with in 3 hrs of receiving it he has put a formal complaint in and has asked why a f2f medical is needed with all the evidence that they have and what happened to common sense also why when a gp has stated that a home visit is needed and why has it not gone ahead also said that he will help all he can with this matter,

so has this gone back to the assessor that did the first assessment or to another one how much money is this costing the tax payer.and as you can see I do not give the thing that answered the phone a title as I have had more personal conversation with a computerised answer phone and when I am finished with it, it will think again about the way it spoke to some one at the end of the day they are providing a service and need to be reminded of this now and again.

well got the home visit thanks to my MP, dwp could not understand what the problem was because of gp ,letter. so even if you still get told no do not give up

Other members should take heed that it is worth fighting for a Home Assessment where one is needed and appropriate.

so on it goes after nearly 3 months and getting our mp involved today the doctor for the dwp landed with out warning no forward letter or phone call, my partner let him in thinking that he was my o,t the left with the dog as o,t had a lot to do and dog not nice it was when he was in the house with myself sitting on couch as could not get my leg braces on that he said who he was and said he could tell we did not have a clue he was coming said he could leave if I wanted and come back at a later date or as he could tell just by looking and what he had read on forms that he should not have been sent anyway as medical evidence more that enough for this to have gone through without a medical he started writing when my o,t turned up and asked what was going on and was I ok she then told the doctor a few things and said she would be back in 5mins which the doc said he would be finished then hubby returns and doc said who he was hubby not happy would not be the right word to use he then asked the doc what would happy and he said not to worry as not a chance that I was able to work and would not here from him again and would report that I was another one not told he was coming thanks said hubby but he will be taking it up with mp asap I wonder how many times this is happening and this is deffo a ploy to stop put people off home visit think if should be looked into
