Just wanted to say a very big thank you to everyone for their help and support. I have just managed to pluck up the nerve to call DWP directly to seek clarification on the letter they sent me which was not all too clear as to whether or not a decision had been made on my ESA 50.

They confirmed I will continue to remain in the Support Group for a further 2 years and I have requested an ESA85A to confirm this.

This is such a relief to hear. Once again thank you.

I have received an LT54 from Jobcentre Plus following my telephone call asking for update on ESA50 decision. This confirms I remain in the Support Group but I was hoping for confirmation of how long before next assessment as the advisor on the phone stated 2 years but this form does not contain a date. Should they have also sent me an ESA85A as the decision was paper based or do I have to write elsewhere for this document?

Unless you asked for documents used in the making of the Decision then you have to specifically request the ESA85A.

The LT54 would not include the reassessment date, it is taken from the prognosis on the ESA85A.

I did ask for documents made on decision but only received LT54 to which department do I write or ring to request ESA85A letter please?
