If you are found Fit for Work then you will need to provide Fit Notes from the day after the Decision applies in order to receive the ESA Assessment rate while waiting for an Tribunal.

There can be considerable regional variations but the average is probably about 3 months.

Thanks for the Info Gordon..Much appreciated. Its my first time on ESA- so I think its worth going down that Road...(I HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE..).. i think your only allowed to go on the appeal Tribunal road once. I think I get free legal aid to from a local wefare rights office. I just hope there not too much /paperwork/hassle in it...

Your local office may be able to provide you with assistance but Legal Aid is no longer available for First Tier Tribunals.
