Hi, can you give me a rough idea of how long it is taking for mandatory reconsiderations to take place on PIP please?

The ESA appeal has been received and now waiting for dates.

Thank you

Typically 5-6 weeks but it can go to months/

Hi, my ESA appeal has been accepted thankfully, am I correct in thinking I should be getting ESA assessment rate payment without a fit note? Mine was being paid and has suddenly stopped. I have provided fit notes also. Thanks

If you have received written confirmation from the Tribunal Service that your appeal has been accepted then you can contact the DWP and ask to be put back on the ESA Assessment rate while you wait for a hearing. You will need to provide Fit Notes, from the day after you were found Fit for Work if you did not claim JSA or from the day after your JSA claim is closed if you did.

Thanks Gordon. I did not claim JSA but was unsure whether I needed to send the sick notes to DWP.

Do I need to send them to the Appeal Court also?

They need to be sent to the DWP but not the TS.
