Ben wrote: Is it true that the DWP is deferring for a year a significant number of transfers from DLA to PIP? The only reason i ask is that i'm still waiting for my ''invitation'' and i thought the migration was going to end this year .Thanks.

I'm not aware of any deferral, the timescales for the project were always over-ambitious.

DLA claimants are being chosen at random to be invited to claim PIP, so it could be tomorrow or at some time in the future.

On two occasions i've been lucky enough to have my reassessments for support group esa deferred for two years without even having to fill in an esa 50.

Do you know of the any criteria that's used to decide whether someone's deferred or is it literally down to random selection? Thanks.

If there is any criteria then it has not been published, best guess is members of the SG with a prognosis of improvement not expected in the longer term.

I can't remember whether i've asked this question before so apologies in advance if i have.

I'm getting increasingly stressed out by the fact i'm going to have to face a wca this year-i've been in the support group for many years. And that i've had no specialist input for my condition for some years.I'm on medication and i've got evidence of my diagnosis and past specialist input but nothing up to date other than from my gp.And the prognosis from my 2012 wca which said i was unlikely to improve in the long term.

I'm largely housebound and have little contact with anyone. So i feel especially vulnerable given the stories i've heard of claims where people are turned down because there's no current specialist input other than medication and gp support.

If i lose my esa i know it'll push me over the edge and i feel powerless to do anything about it.

I would start by speaking to your GP ti find out what support they are willing to provide.

Completely out of the blue i've received notice that i'm to be subjected to a telephone compliance interview. And i'm really panicking about it because due to my health problems i'm unable to sustain conversations on the phone.I'm also perplexed as to why i've been singled out.For i don't claim any means-tested benefits and i'm largely housebound.

The only thing i can think has aroused their suspicions is my savings account because over the years i've received a couple of small inheritances and cashed in a small company pension. However as i'm not claiming any means tested benefits i didn't think i needed to inform the DWP.

Would it help if i wrote to the compliance office and explained my situation to her because i really don't think i can handle a telephone interview.

Thanks.
