Where does your wife's anxiety come from? Is she receiving treatment? Under what circumstances does she leave the house? Does she go out on her own?

When she goes out could you reasonably describe her anxiety as "overwhelming psychological
distress"?

So she can do the school run, or travel to her parents. Both a 5 minute drive but anywhere else she either doesn't bother or waits until she is with her mum or myself.
Overwhelming psychological distress, not sure. She's not been diagnosed but it is known by her GP that she struggles with anxiety.

A lack of mental health diagnosis will make it difficult to score points on the 'planning and following journeys' descriptor :(
