I'll be sending this info tomorrow, which makes me feel a little better to be able to provide more supporting evidence, however late in the day this is. But the torture of waiting & uncertainty continues.
Would it provoke them in any way if my brother rang the HAAS to check on my ESA's progress tomorrow ?
I found the smiley.

You don't have to but I would recommend it, your file has been sent onto Maximus (aka HAAS aka CHDA), so you are reliant on them including the additional information in your file so that the DWP can see it. This should happen but if your letter and your file don't meet up for any reason the DWP won't see it, which is why we suggest sending it to the DWP directly.
No you won't provoke HAAS by asking for an update.

As he is not the claimant I would be surprised if they even tried, but all he has to say is that he can't accept an appointment as he needs to check with you and you cannot deal with at that time.
