Sorry, I've read the responses again, and I'm slightly confused.

So, the DWP at the 0345 number can feasibly take up to a few weeks to even confirm to me that my ESA50 has arrived at their mail sorting office - even though I already have proof of delivery?

Also, will the DWP send out a letter after the deadline if it does not believe it has received the form, asking for "good cause", or does it just suspend our benefits without telling us?

I had assumed my worry over whether they had received my form would have left me the moment I saw the RM tracker that my ESA50 had been delivered! The thought of potentially waiting another few weeks . . . argghh.

I wouldn't expect it to be anything like that long but members are regularly told that it can take 10 days for an ESA50 to show up on the computer system as received.

Thanks folks, for the very helpful replies. At least now I won't freak out too early if they keep telling me it isn't yet on the system. Little Nell - I think we did the same thing - doing the special next day delivery guarantee thing??

Ugh - the thought of having to call that DWP number daily, and then hang on while they play The Four Seasons ad infinitum, just gets me down.

So much responsibility for this ESA50 seems to be unfairly left at the door of the claimant.
