Are ESA reassessments being deferred again? was created by Sorrel
I was meant to be reassessed for ESA in 2015, but it was deferred because of the backlog. I expected the form sometime this month, but at a recent WFI my work coach said that it had been deferred for another two years. It's a bit of a relief, especially as I've just gone through the DLA-PIP transfer, but as I can't find any information about this anywhere I can't quite believe it. Does anyone know if and why they're being deferred again? Thanks.

It's our understanding that the general deferment of ESA reassessments has stopped, so this is specific to your claim. AS to why, I'm afraid the DWP are the only ones that will know.

Hmm, very odd. I hope my work coach hasn't made a mistake. I'll have to see if I can find out what's going on, thanks.

The same has happened to me as previously posted, but I am in support group, like you I was due to be reassessed March 2015 and was put back to March 2017 then March 2019.

The same thing happened to me as I have previously posted. I was due to be reassessed Jan 2017 but when I rang DWP was advised it had been put back to Jan 2019.
