Ben
We are not aware of any deferral of ESA reassessments, I'm not saying that we have not heard from members who have had the reassessments put back, just that there is no concerted plan to do this.
Can you make assumptions because you have not heard anything, not really, an ESA reassessment can be done at any time once three months have elapsed since the last Decision. It is an administrative decision and is not defined in law, so just because the DWP did not decide to start a reassessment last week does not mean that they cannot start one this week.
I'm not aware of anybody who has had an assessment started by calling the ESA Helpline, it's the only way to know for certain what is happening.
However, that said, providing you are happy that there are no issues with your mail that could result in a lost ESA50 then you do not need to take any action, your existing award remains in payment until a new Decision is made.

Thanks for your reply Gordon.

The number is on any of the letters you have received about your ESA.

I've just learned my reassessment has been deferred again However i still haven't heard about my migration from DLA to PIP.
I understood that this migration was to end in October this year.Does anyone know whether that's still the case.Or are Atos and Capita as behind schedule as Maximus is for the ESA?
Thanks.

They are running at least a year behind and probably a lot longer.
