Hi Bezzy
I am also profoundly deaf and used a Speech to Text Operator at my face to face you should automatically be awarded points for this in communicating, I also stated that when out and about I am unable to hear traffic which is unsafe, I cannot use public transport for the reasons you state, I was awarded points for both of these, you have to make sure the DWP knows you had communication support at your assessment as I found the assessor did not mention this in her report, when I contacted the DWP about it they immediately put a MR in for me and I won my case

Congratulations and well done.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process a Tribunal result, I would give them a call next week to make sure that they have received the Decision Notice.
