The doctor has referred me to a gym and I've had my introduction. I'm very willing to do this but as I get the high rates of PIP I don't want to see photo's of myself, in the Sun or Mirror, exercising or swimming and being called a fraud. Which I'm not. What would happen if the DWP saw me trying to improve my health?

I'm afraid there really is no good answer to this
You need to balance the benefits to you physically and mentally of your getting better as a result of this gym activity versus the impact doing so may have on your benefits.
As a starting point make sure you understand how you actually qualified for your award and as a result the potential areas of impact.
