Replied by DC on topic PIP APPEAL DWP NOT RESPONDED ON TIME
hi thanks very much for the info guys. Its now 11th December & still no response from DWP to either myself or the tribunal service, the tribunal service requested the response from DWP again on 4th Decemnber, so i suppose its just a waiting game yet again. As i get further & further distressed & into debt

I don't think that I have seen the DWP fail to respond after a reminder has been sent.
You should have seen a copy of the letter sent to the DWP and how much extra time they have been given.

thanks Gordon, i only get info from the trackling system by email. It just says the DWP have been asked again to respond, no mention of a timescale or if theyve asked for an extension. Ive received no notification whatsoever & only find out things when i click on to the track your appeal link. I have also written to my MP about this

You should be receiving copies of any correspondence that the TS is having with the DWP and vice versa, if you aren't;t then you should chase the TS about it.

the DWP had still not replied by 31st December, despite the tribunal service asking them for the 2nd time on 3rd December, so i rang the tribunal service. They said the DWP had not replied & the matter would now be referred to a regional judge? I then informed them that I had contacted my MP. Surprise surprise on New Years day at 9am I received an email saying DWP had replied. I didnt thing anyone would be working that day. I was told I should receive a letter from DWP confirming they had replied , but still received nothing. They all seem to be in cahoots together. The DWP have not contacted me once but as soon as I mention my MP they suddenly reply. Ridiculous & the whole matter is making my anxiety worse

I would have expected you to have received a copy of the DWP response by now if the TS received it on the first so I would chase the TS.
